Well this week’s fun foto challenge by Cee got me out and about. The weather is starting to warm up a little, snow is almost gone. I grabbed my camera, however, just a basic lens and just set on auto. Still too cold to play around with settings outside. I will do that this summer though. I am really looking forward to experiment with manual settings.
I had to go out today to pay a bill and the lake is so close to where I have to go, I made a little photo fun project out of it. While I was at it, I snapped a couple of odd ball photos for the next challenge in that category.
These photos were taken at the Penticton Rose Garden and by Okanagan Lake. While there are mostly brown leaves right now, I am anxious to compare these photos with spring and summer. I have never taken photos of the Rose Garden when it is bare. This was fun, cold, but fun to do.
The feature image above is a grapevine leaf that didn’t get cleaned up in the fall. We have a grapevine that is over 40 years old that grows across our deck in the summer-time. We harvest quite a few green, seedless grapes from mid-August to September.
Ah, the fresh air did me some good this morning. Remember to love yourself for being you!
